Two Simulation User Network (SUN) meetings are scheduled for Dallas and San Francisco in October. SUN events provide product and simulation education, networking with peers and learning about best practices from expert speakers.

Introducing the Newborn Anne manikin

Built from the SimNewB platform developed in conjunction with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Newborn Anne was specifically designed to meet key NRP course skills. Newborn Anne is easy-to-use with realistic anatomical landmarks and durable design simulating a full-term female newborn. Lightweight and portable, she is highly mobile for use in multiple clinical settings.

eLearning Courses from the American Heart Association and Laerdal now available at onlineaha.org

Laerdal works closely with the AHA to develop self-directed learning programs that teach lifesaving skills and improve the effectiveness of training. The eLearning portal now features alliance offerings HeartCode™ ACLS, HeartCode™ BLS and Learn:™ Rapid STEMI ID.  Others will be available soon.
